2. The Cringe-Worthy Final Scene

Black Adam's final scene is surely one of the corniest in recent memory.

After Adrianna thanks Adam for saving the day, Adam remarks that the name "Teth-Adam" is a little old fashioned, and when she asks what he'd like to be called, we simply linger on a shot of Adam as he smirks, before we cut to the film's title. The End.

It's such a cheeseball, predictable, and yes, generic, way to end the movie, touting the same energy as the widely-ridiculed ending of Avengers: Age of Ultron, where Joss Whedon cuts away before Captain America can say "Avengers, assemble!"

For a movie that clings so close to formula throughout its runtime, though, that's probably a totally appropriate way to wrap things up.
