What We Know So Far

In the comics, Nakia is a founding member of T'Challa's iteration of the Dora Milaje, which is borne out of political insurrection. She falls for T'Challa, despite her duty, developing a teenage infatuation and a desire to marry him.

We already know that Nakia is going to be T'Challa's love interest in the film too, so it would appear we're going to get a fairly traditional look at the character, though it's unlikely she will be the teenage obsessive of the comics. And it's even less likely that she'll try and kill her love rivals and end up being expelled from Wakanda.

What we can be assured of is a great performance by Nyong'o.
