Chadwick Bosemans Black Panther has been rather downplayed in the promotional materials for Captain America: Civil War. Hes been glimpsed fleetingly in the trailers, but theres not much information out there regarding how hell slot into the film. This makes him another wildcard character, with the potential to steal the limelight away from the manifold other heroes. In a few interviews, Boseman has suggested that Black Panther an armoured-suit-wearing martial artist, and monarch-to-be of the fictional nation Wakanda will have his own agenda in the superhero Civil War. While all the other heroes are bickering about the government, then, T'Challa could be off doing something excitingly different. Black Panther wont be on anybodys team, according to an interview with Boseman from the April 2016 issue of Empire Magazine. Its my political mission to tame it and get it under control, Boseman added. It sounds, then, like Black Panther could be the only one who realises the stupidity of superheroes fighting eachother while the evildoers of the world are still very much active. Perhaps hell be the voice of reason in the movie. And an ass-kicking, politically-aware voice of reason at that. This sounds like a character that audiences could really take to, en masse. Maybe itll be Boseman that everyones talking about once the credits have rolled, and he'll steal the show completely from Iron Man and co.
