Ant-Man was a solid hit for Marvel this year - nothing spectacular but enough for the studio to decide on changing up Phase 3 a bit to include a sequel, Ant-Man & The Wasp, which will be out in 2018. That alone means Scott Lang won't be killed off during Civil War, but there's more to it than that. Even if the sequel hadn't been confirmed, he wouldn't be dying. He's only just been introduced to this world, and hasn't met some of the key Avengers yet, which you'd imagine he will later down the line (while the case was similar with Quicksilver, that had the whole bad-guy-turned-good arc to make things a bit more dramatic). Mostly, though, the reason he won't die is because it's Paul freakin' Rudd! One of the most likeable actors around, there's no way Marvel are killing him off. At least, they better not be.
