One thing there's been a lot of speculation about with this take on Spider-Man is whether or not he would have the web armpits which have become a staple of the character over the years depending on who's providing the art. Some leave them out and others always include them, but they're an admittedly nonsensical part of the hero's appearance which neither of the previous Spider-Man franchises ever touched on. Still, it would have been nice to see them, but there's no sign of them here. When Iron Man created the Iron Spider costume, he added a gliding function which allowed Spider-Man to fly for short bursts, and the web armpits would have been a nice way of achieving that. On the other hand, it could have been overkill, but it will be very interesting to see if Peter's homemade costume ends up incorporating them in any way.
