Perhaps the biggest criticism about Marvel's take on Spider-Man is that he appears to be fully CGI. Special effects are so good these days that it really comes down to a matter of opinion whether that's accurate or not, but it does seem as if the version we're seeing here has been brought to life solely with CGI (if nothing else, his mask is going be enhanced with effects moving forward because of the eyes and mouth movements). Entertainment Weekly confirmed a while back that they saw a stuntman on set in costume, so it's not like this Spider-Man is going to be a motion capture character, but it will be interesting to see what kind of balance we'll get between Tom Holland being in the suit and a fully rendered Spider-Man brought to life by a computer.
