20 Most WTF Horror Movies Of The 2020s (So Far)
16. The Coffee Table
The Coffee Table is absolutely a horror film best watched while knowing as little as possible, and with that in mind we'll keep the specifics to a bare minimum here.
This Spanish black comedy basically asks audiences to consider how they would react if the most horrifying scenario imaginable happened, all thanks to a new coffee table no less.
Again, we're being purposefully vague because the sheer jaw-dropping discovery of what this film has in store is half the "fun", setting the stage for an increasingly absurd, agonisingly cringe-worthy experience best watched through splayed fingers.
Needless to say, The Coffee Table broaches subject matter that'll simply be too real for many audiences - and understandably so - but those prepared to hold on tight for the full ride will be rewarded with a gut-wrenchingly suspenseful, brilliantly acted low-budget near-masterpiece.
Just expect your friends to hate you if you dare recommend it to them.
