5. Deadpool (Suicide)
Cause of Death: Blown up.
Deadpool 2 opens with a miserable Wade rigging up his apartment with several drums of gasoline, after which he hilariously declares he's going to out-Logan Logan in the "dying in your own movie" stakes. He drops his cigarette and the apartment goes up in a glorious explosion, catapulting 'Pool's body parts all over the place.
This is, of course, his suicide bid in light of Vanessa's death, and though it does technically "kill" him by any conventional metric, Colossus subsequently arrives at the apartment, drags his dismembered body back to the X-Mansion and manages to piece him back together.
It's nothing if not a suitably bombastic way to kick the movie off, and makes it abundantly clear just how much punishment Deadpool can come back from.
