Referencing Tarantino really turned out to be a boon for Wright. Wrights prize for impressing one of Hollywoods most esoteric film-making minds? He got to direct a fake film trailer for Grindhouse, the flick Tarantino helmed with Robert Rodriguez. Entitled Dont and featuring Katie Melua and Matthew MacFayden, it harked back to the days of Hammer Horror. There was no real story to it aside from shocks, but then again there wasnt much to Machete, yet that still found its way into its own film. I suppose theres still hope for this one
