Big Hero 6 is one of Marvel Comics' lesser-known super teams. Even now, after the movie had been a huge success, many people still don't realise it's all based on a comic book. Disney Animation Studios make the most of this obscurity, completely transforming the team into something much more recognisably "Disney".

However, this Disney-fication really works in the movie's favour. Here we get all the thrill and action of an Avengers, with all the pathos and unexpected tragedy of a Bambi.
