18. Captain Phasma

The omens were good that Captain Phasma would become an instant fan favourite. She was played by Gwendoline “Brienne Of Tarth” Christie, the trailers made her look like an important part of the story and her chrome design was a tribute to cult horror Phantasm; what could go wrong?

Giving her nothing to do, for starters. Phasma barely appears, and when she does turn up all she does is bark orders. Apparently she wants revenge on Finn for deserting, but if that’s the case she doesn’t do much about it.

Maybe in future movies she’ll become the badass we were hoping to see but for now, Phasma is basically The Force Awakens version of Boba Fett.
