17. Weiss & Benioff's Star Wars Series
Release Date: Another new Star Wars series in the works - and another that is a long way away and of which few details are known.

What we do know, though, is that the series is coming from D.B. Weiss and David Benioff, aka the creators of the biggest TV show in the world. They've proven they can handle large-scale, epic fantasy, and if they were to turn their hands to something in the vein of Knights of the Old Republic, it could be really special indeed.
Hopefully it won't be too long before Lucasfilm clarifies exactly what's happening with this and Johnson's trilogy (obviously Weiss and Benioff have GoT to finish first), and then we can start getting really excited.
