One of the slightly underappreciated Disney gems of their great 90s run, Mulan is one that actually makes complete sense to translate into a live-action setting (since it actually has, y'know, a lot of human characters).
Nikki Caro is slated to direct the movie, which should have a suitably huge budget, with Liu Yifei as Mulan herself and Donnie Yen as Commander Tung. These remakes have been performing well at the box-office anyway, but this one should be huge in the increasingly important Chinese market.
