1. The Eddie/Venom Stuff Is Great

Despite its apparent flaws, there is some consensus on the movie's one redeeming feature: Tom Hardy. He is, of course, a brilliant actor who can take any movie to another level, and it sounds as though he's nailed the duality of Eddie Brock and Venom here, with his performance and their relationship being the real standout for many:
