15. It's A Glorified Clip Show - Jackass: Best & Last

Paramount gets a begrudging amount of credit for at least being honest about Jackass: Best and Last in their marketing. 

Beyond confirming it to be a fond farewell to the Jackass crew, months before the film's release they revealed it to also be a mixture of classic Jackass clips with newly filmed skits.

Even so, many fans were left surprised by just how much of the film was comprised of admittedly hilarious archive footage. 

Roughly two-thirds of the film is old material, with the crew only spending five days shooting new stunts, most of which are terribly tame - somewhat understandably, given the ageing process.

All in all, it's tough not to view this as a cynical attempt to milk the cash cow one last time. 

As a theatrical release it's embarrassingly barebones, and would've surely gone down better as a streaming release.

Unsurprisingly few outside the hardcore demographic bothered to show up once word got out about it being a clip show, with Best and Last grossing just $27.8 million - barely a third of what the previous film, Jackass Forever, raked in.
