Following the success of Fifty Shades Of Grey, certain fans will no doubt be looking to set their peepers on anything Jamie Dornan's ever worked on, and X Returns is most definitely one for those completists with nothing but spare time on their hands. A Matrix-aping science fiction short about a US marine - Dornan's Agent X - infected by an 'alien virus' and pursued by American secret agents, X Returns is as anti-climactic as it is derivative. Dornan is required to do nothing here but scowl, hold a gun and walk (or, it must be said, run in a fairly strange manner) around an overcast and tired-looking Los Angeles. Worth watching largely to see how far Dornan has come and to get the word out there that Holly Valance requires a much better agent.
