Justice League: 10 Ways Warner Bros. Can Continue The Franchise After The Snyder Cut

3. Put The Focus On Justice League Dark Instead

In all honesty, there has to be a reason why Warner Bros. didn't want to release Zack Snyder's version of Justice League, and don't forget that it was once reported by reliable sources that the cut he initially delivered to the studio was nonsensical. With that in mind, it's entirely possible the series/movie coming to HBO Max will be nothing short of a disaster.

Time will tell on that front, but assuming Warner Bros. does just want to move on, it could be sensible to shift the spotlight to Justice League Dark instead. Made up of characters like Swamp-Thing, Constantine, Deadman, and Zatanna, the team faces supernatural threats, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker director J.J. Abrams is developing a series featuring the heroes for HBO Max.

There's said to be big plans in place for the team, with spinoffs also in the works, so perhaps a shift in focus to magical threats - which would tie into movies like Black Adam and Shazam! - Fury of the Gods - could serve as an exciting and fresh new direction to take the Justice League in.
