Marvel Cinematic Universe: 11 Films To Expect In Phase 4

3. Spider-Man 3

Chalk a third Spider-Man film up in the no-brainer category of sequels we'll undoubtedly be seeing in Phase 4. The iconic web-slinger's undying popularity coupled with the fact that audiences have fallen in love with the MCU's interpretation of the character pretty much guarantees he won't be taking an extended break following this July's Far From Home.

Obviously no one knows what to expect about how Far From Home will continue to change Peter's life - both as himself and as Spider-Man - especially following the death of Tony Stark and the fact that the world has been changed by the events of Endgame, but the mere introduction of Nick Fury into his life and his entrance onto the global stage against Mysterio suggests that things won't ever be the same.

For a third film, the storytelling potential is endless, and it's entirely possible that we may finally get to see a version of the Sinister Six hit the big screen. Until then, though, we have his first sequel to look forward to, but considering Sony and Marvel surely won't want to let any dust settle on their partnership, Spider-Man will almost certainly be back in theaters by 2021 or 2022.
