3. The Young Avengers

The Film

A long awaited introduction of the youthful iteration of the Avengers team, more focused towards YA audiences, with a more accessible "street" edge, possibly following on from Peter Parker's John Hughes-style school-set movie.

Whoever the cast are, they should be somehow linked to the main roster, though not necessarily by blood.

Any Evidence?

None, but there have been some pretty persistent rumours, and the Russos have previously said that a Young Avengers film would be a "really good idea..."

Any Groundwork?

Well, none - in fact, this is pretty problematic currently as none of the Avengers apart from Hawkeye have any kids. But then the Young ones don't need to be offspring necessarily: they could just be strangers with similar powers that the heroes feel compelled towards. Or clones or something led by Hawkeye's kids and Ant-Man's daughter Cassie (who goes on to become Stature).
