17. Iron Man

There are countless alternatives to Iron Man's finished look in his movies, as concept artists have taken as much glee in the details of his suits as Stark himself did when he tinkered his way to an Iron Legion in Iron Man 3.

Some had shoulder-mounted cannons, others were more like Space Marine suits and others simply changed the design up to look even more bulky...

The opportunity to design lots of burner suits for Iron Man 3 inspired some more... wacky designs too, like this grabby claw arm version...

And who wouldn't want to see a buzzsaw-armed Iron Man?
