18. Malekith - Thor: The Dark World

The Dark World's villain Malekith could have looked a lot different if any of Andy Park's various other designs made it to the big screen.

The harlequin look is far closer to his original look in the comics and you can see Park was committed to that sort of design throughout early designs before changing to a more typical elf-like look for the final movie. He would certainly have been more striking.
