There are so many different versions of Clayface in Batman Lore that the origin almost doesnt even matter anymore. That said, hes still a pretty epic rogue for the Dark Knight to face. Clayface is essentially made of a viscous, clay-like substance which can shape shift into any form and consistency and he also has the ability to imitate human beings. How it Could Work: Were talking full-on CGI here, theres really no other way, which means departing from Nolans established realism route and going fully comic-book on it. Maybe not the worst idea though? Clayface is a true challenge for Batman as hes essentially non-corporeal, and can morph his body into all sorts of nasty, offensive forms (giant hammer hands for example). Who Could Play Him: Like I said, there have been so many versions of Clayface (the science used to turn a human into the clay-like substance has been reverse engineered and now exists in the DC Universe), that the character really is open to interpretation. Unless you know of any actors that are made out of clay? Likelihood: Not hugely likely, Ill grant you, after Nolans franchise, even though the character is quite popular and even worked his way into the #72 spot in IGNs top 100 comic-book villains of all time list. If the next Batman director wants to do the exact opposite of what Nolan did however, Clayface would see him right.
