9. I Know What You Did Last Summer

Though last year's legacy sequel to I Know What You Did Last Summer was an absolutely terrible, borderline sacrilegious follow-up, it did nevertheless end with an absolute howler of a sequel tease that just needs to be followed up on.

In the slasher sequel's mid-credits scene, original survivor Julie James (Jennifer Love Hewitt) pays a visit to her old pal Karla Wilson (Brandy Norwood), showing her a note she received which says "It isn't over."

Hilariously, Karla responds by asking Julie, "Who are we f**king up this time?" teeing up another film which will re-team Julie and Karla against yet another hook-wielding killer.

As Karla is a fan favourite character despite the general awfulness of I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, it'd sure be fun to see her back as a main character in a new sequel.

Yet given the relatively modest commercial performance of last year's film, there's absolutely no guarantee that this fist-pumping sequel will ever become reality.
