7. We're Wolves

What We Do in the Shadows is an absolutely hilarious vampire mockumentary from Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi that spawned an equally brilliant six-season TV series, yet ever since the original film's release, Clement and Waititi have expressed their desire to make a sequel movie.

The film, tentatively entitled We're Wolves, would focus on the werewolf pack seen briefly in the original film, yet with how little progress has been made over the last 12 years and how much busier Clement and Waititi are nowadays, it simply seemed like the idea had escaped them.

But this past June, Clement confirmed that the duo were now busy writing the sequel for real, and while that doesn't necessarily mean We're Wolves will start shooting imminently, it is the most encouraging update the sequel has had, well, ever.

If it can deliver even a fraction of the riotous laughs that the original film and TV show served up, it's going to be an absolute blast.
