21. Makeup & Hairstyling
Makeup and Hairstyling is always a fun category as it occasionally rewards more left-field movies such as The Wolfman and even Suicide Squad.
The nominees have already been whittled down to a 10-film shortlist, but in contrast to previous years where only three films could be nominated, the field will contain five movies this year. Given the amount of amazing makeup work in any year, it's a smart change.
Bombshell's jarringly impressive makeup job is the easy frontrunner this year, while Joker's sheer popularity will ensure it also sneaks in.
It wouldn't be a shocker to see 1917, Downton Abbey, Little Women, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, or Once Upon a Time in Hollywood steal a slot away from Dolemite or Rocketman, so there's a lot left to play for here.
