This year's Best Documentary field is especially stacked, and honestly, any of them would be satisfying winners.
The heartbreaking For Sama will benefit massively from its recent Best Documentary BAFTA win, but the Obamas-produced American Factory has a far more immediate relatability to American voters, and its Netflix release will also help it out plenty.
Best Documentary is a notoriously tough category to predict with a penchant for left-field winners, so there's every possibility the much-loved Honeyland - the only documentary also nominated for Best International Feature Film - could in fact run away with it.
But the doc field has benefited from the Netflix association in recent years, so we'll stick with American Factory.
