Predicting The Rotten Tomatoes Scores Of 2026's Biggest Movies

2. Narnia: The Magician's Nephew (90%)

Greta Gerwig has an extremely sturdy filmography to date, swiftly scaling up from well-received indies Days and Weekends (85%) and Lady Bird (99%) to bigger-budget studio fare Little Women (95%) and Barbie (88%) without missing a beat.

While one might be tempted to groan at a filmmaker as talented as Gerwig getting stuck in the franchise blockbuster sausage factory, it's also fair to say that she's surely going to make her upcoming Narnia movie bear all the distinct hallmarks of a Greta Gerwig production.

With the stupendous success of Barbie, it'd be ridiculous to bet against Gerwig here, especially as she's once again writing the script and seemingly has full creative control over the Netflix-backed project.

Expect a whole ton of visual grandeur accompanied by Gerwig's signature quick wit, all while delivering a faithful yet adventurous retelling of C. S. Lewis' classic Narnia novel The Magician's Nephew.

Regardless of whether it ends up being a big Oscar play for Gerwig like Barbie, this is almost certainly going to be very, very good.
