8. Kenobi: A Star Wars Story
By far the most demanded spin-off since Disney got control of the Star Wars license, fans have been desperate to see Obi-Wan light up the big screen in a film of his own, with Ewan McGregor's rendition of the character frequently cited as one of the few redeeming features of the prequels.
Talk of a Kenobi anthology movie has only hotted up in the wake of Rogue One and Solo, and with McGregor reportedly keen to reprise the part, it all just seems like a bit of a no brainer for Disney.
Stephen Daldry is said to be directing the film, which will take place during the now frequently traversed period in between Episodes III and IV. Little else is known about the project, but if it follows in the style of John Jackson Miller's Kenobi novel - a western-style story set around the Jedi's first encounters with the Tusken Raiders - expect it to be dramatic.
