Predicting The Rotten Tomatoes Scores For 2016's Biggest Remaining Movies

Critical Consensus: "Ang Lee characteristically delivers with this terrifically acted, visually stunning and emotionally devastating war drama."

Director Ang Lee only has one Rotten film in his entire filmography (2009's Taking Woodstock), which for a career spanning more than two decades is extremely impressive.

As such, it's easy to bank on this adaptation of Ben Fountain's highly acclaimed novel, even if it's also reasonable to be skeptical of newcomer Joe Alwyn taking the lead role.

Still, Lee is great with huge casts and he'll surely make the most of Kristen Stewart, Vin Diesel, Steve Martin, Chris Tucker and so many more terrific actors. If it's not a major Oscar contender moving forward, then something, somewhere has gone horribly wrong.
