Predicting The Rotten Tomatoes Scores Of 2019's Remaining Blockbusters
10. Zombieland: Double Tap (80%)
Everyone with eyes and ears has been asking for a sequel to Zombieland ever since the first film opened in 2009, and finally, that wish has been granted. Double Tap opens in just a few days, and if the early reactions from its premiere are to be believed, it's definitely worth the long wait.
Even though belated followups to beloved comedy movies don't tend to do well with critics or at the box-office (Zoolander 2, Dumb and Dumber To), Double Tap is being described as a worthy continuation of the series that promises all the gore and zany humour that we all want to see.
This goodwill obviously bodes well for its RT score, which will be unveiled just before the movie opens. However, positive early reactions don't always translate to good reviews (never forget: Batman V Superman's early buzz was strong), so there's still room for Double Tap to fall short.
That being said, the first film was able to hit a staggering 90% score, and while we can't see the sequel getting that high, it looks like an entertaining, bloody, bonkers ride of a movie, and it should be able to earn some solid reviews for itself.
