Ranking Every Final Destination Death From Worst To Best

45. Off-Screen Death-By-Brick (Alex Browning - Final Destination 2)

New Line Cinema

The default worst death of the series is unquestionably the off-screen demise of Alex Browning (Devon Sawa), the protagonist of the first movie.

In the second film, it's revealed via a news article that Alex was killed by a falling brick - an astoundingly lame death for the guy we all rooted for the first time around.

44. Off-Screen Death-By-Woodchipper (Kimberly Corman & Tom Burke - Final Destination 3)

New Line Cinema

Much like Alex, Final Destination 2's surviving heroes Kimberly (A. J. Cook) and Tom (Michael Landes) were unceremoniously killed off-screen via a brief flash of a news article - so brief in fact, you'd be forgiven for missing it entirely.

As it turns out, the likeable survivors died in a mysterious woodchipper accident. Though this is basically a lazy rehash of Alex's death, we ultimately didn't care quite as much as when Alex got the boot, so it didn't sting quite so hard.

Fun fact - Kimberly and Tom were originally scripted to appear in the third film's final train crash sequence, but scheduling conflicts sadly got in the way.
