Positives?
Despite criticism when it first came out, Man Of Steel remains the second best film in the DCEU, with a lot of great ideas and significantly less poor execution than in Batman v Superman or Suicide Squad. There was always space for a true sequel, and the rumours of Brainiac and Bizarro being involved is indication enough that there's plenty of scope for great villains and compelling storylines in this universe.
And hopefully, it will be directed by someone with more affection for the character as he is than Zack Snyder.
Concerns?
That they won't hire the right person, basically, The right person could either be Sam Raimi or George Miller.
Also, they really, really need to get the right tone, rather than endlessly trying to deconstruct Superman, as Snyder did to such annoying results.
