The first stand-alone from the rock-and-roll bad-ass version of Aquaman Jason Momoa is already bringing to Justice League. Filmed by horror veteran James Wan, expect some of his generic flair in there and lots and lots of underwater tension.

Positives?

From the little we've seen already, Momoa looks like the best part of Justice League, and seeing more of him - alongside the exceptional cast Wan has amassed - is definitely a big positive for DCEU fans.

And if the effects work comes off as it should (since it's costing a fortune and pushing all sorts of boundaries), we could be looking at an Avatar-style cinematic awakening.

Concerns?

PLEASE don't let the underwater effects work look goofy. PLEASE!!
