Directed by Annabelle Creation's David F Sandberg, Shazam! is the story of a boy who transforms into Earth's mightiest hero, by shouting his catch-phrase. A little like Banana Man.

Positives?

Shazam! is a great character, and about the closest thing anyone will ever get to feeling like they could legitimately transform into a superhero. In other words, he's an achievable hero, and if Warner Bros go with a nostalgic (almost Amblin) approach, they'll be on to a winner.

Concerns?

It's unclear whether The Rock's Black Adam will even appear in the movie, which strips away one of the project's biggest initial selling points.
