5. The Spectacular Voice Cast

This is one of the stronger recent showings from the voice cast of a DC animated movie, with Cameron Monaghan lending cocky vigour to Superboy, while Patrick Fabian does splendid work as Cyborg Superman and Rebecca Romijn is a remarkable Lois Lane.

Even though Darkseid is pretty much an afterthought in the film, Tony Todd's unforgettable deep drawl is perfect for the iconic supervillain, and one sincerely hopes we'll get to hear him voice the character in another animated movie.

And though Rainn Wilson's nasal Lex Luthor didn't go down too well in The Death of Superman, The Office star does feel more at home in the part this time.

Whatever the movie's issues, you can't knock the game commitment of the vocal cast.
