Robert Downey Jr. in another superhero film?

In talks to voice a character in MASTER MIND, the exciting Dreamworks animated superhero film.

One of the best superhero concepts I've heard in a while was back in April, when a movie by the name of Master Mind was greenlit at Dreamworks Animation. The movie centered around the idea of a super villain becoming rather depressed and fed up with life after killing his arch rival in the film's opening scene. It's the theme that has made the feud between Batman and The Joker so fascinating and was recently dissected with the end scene between Heath Ledger and Christian Bale in The Dark Knight.

The idea that one can't function without the other. The idea that the presence and existence of them both keeps the other with a job and a purpose in life. And for an animated film to delve into this, well it's pretty exciting shit right there, even if the hero does have the stupid name of "Uberman". Oh and Ben Stiller is producing... hopefully this won't end up as the next Mystery Man. Anyway, nearly half a year later, we fast forward to today where Entertainment Weekly report that Robert Downey Jr. is in talks to voice a character in the film but doesn't divulge as to whether it's a hero or a villain. Baby Mama's Tina Fey is also in talks for the picture that will be helmed by veteran Dreamworks animators Cameron Hood and Kyle Jefferson who worked together on Shark Tale. First time feature writers Brent Simons and Alan Schoolcraft wrote the script. Awesomely exciting, would love to here Downey Jr. voice the villain so soon after playing Iron Man. We await some kind of official announcement on this one.
