Said it before, I'll say it again...

Bruce Campbell is cast as Quentin Beck, aka Mysterio; The Master of Illusion, either as a main villain or one of several in Spider-Man 4 then I think we can officially stop calling him the world's most famous B-movie actor. He will be the marquee name of one of the biggest movie franchises of all time - Van Damme and Seagal can't claim to be that. According to Access Hollywood, Campbell claimed a January start for Spider-Man 4 and that he would have a "major part" this time around, leading to a revived speculation that he will turn "big boss" villainous for the fourth movie, once again to be directed by his good friend Sam Raimi. I still say Raimi should go with Dr. Curt Connors and The Lizard for Spidey 4 but I'm definitely in favour of growing the role of Campbell who was the ring announcer who gave Spider-Man's name in the first movie, was the snotty usher in the sequel, and the embarrassing waiter in the third. The idea I heard back in 2006 when it was speculated that he was to play a movie special effects guy who gets laid off from his job working on a movie version of Spider-Man and vows to take revenge on the real life version of the character that cost him his likelihood using the technology and costumes from the set, seemed like a solid idea for a secondary villain. For once, it wouldn't be an experiment gone wrong and would be a pure act of vengeance for losing your steady paycheck during a bad economic time period. And I still say Sony don't have the balls for Kraven's Last Hunt...
