12. Unkar Plutt Loses An Arm - The Force Awakens
Easily the most infamous and widely-discussed deleted scene from The Force Awakens sees Rey being accosted by her old pal Unkar Plutt at Maz's Castle, who steals her blaster, after which Chewbacca decides to interject.
Plutt derisively calls Chewie "half a Wookie", and the giant furball responds by angrily tearing his arm off and hurling it onto a nearby games table, much to the chagrin of the alien creatures playing there.
This is of course a cute callback to Han Solo telling C-3PO in A New Hope, "Droids don't pull people's arms out of their sockets when they lose", and remembering the number of limbs that get hacked off in Disney movies these days, what's one more?
Plus, Unkar Plutt's blood-curdling scream is both hilarious and extremely satisfying. What a travesty that it was cut.
