2. Meeting His Wife

Yes, Han doesn€™t meet Princess Leia until A New Hope, but that isn€™t the wife in question here. The new series of Star Wars comics that have been released - and are considered canon - have revealed that Han is married to someone else.

Obviously up until this point there had been no mention of his spouse, so it is safe to assume that the marriage isn€™t an entirely happy one, and indeed it has been revealed that she believes all Han is good for is lying.

They were married before the events of A New Hope, so it stands that we will be seeing Sana Solo, as she is called, maybe in happier times (and possibly even their wedding), leading to the breakdown of the marriage.
