Star Wars: Rogue One Trailer - 9 Things The Teaser Didn't Show

6. The Death Star Interior

You might recall the little incident which occurred back in August 2015, in which David Gauke, the Conservative MP for South West Hertfordshire and Financial Secretary to the Treasury, tweeted that he had "visited the Death Star" during a ministerial visit to Pinewood Studios in order to weigh the benefits of film tax credits.

Clearly Gauke obviously spoke out of turn and wasn't supposed to reveal any information of this kind (Disney must've been fuming!), but his faux pas did reveal a potentially interesting tidbit: that part of Rogue One will be set inside the Death Star.

This might well have already been assumed, considering the plot of the movie concerns stealing the Death Star plans... and yet there are no shots of inside the iconic space station in this first Rogue One teaser. We get an ominous exterior view, but not a single glimpse inside the moon-sized Imperial weapon.

Could Gauke have made a mistake in his analysis of the set, or are the studio trying to avoid any interior shots to keep the plot under wraps?
