Bruce Wayne continues his penchant for killing in this film thanks to the technology his company provides to the government. Of course he'd be a military contractor - it's a model that that other comic book movie giant thrived on, after all.

According to EW - and in line with the comics - each member of Task Force X is implanted with a mini bomb in their necks that ensures compliance "courtesy of Wayne Enterprises." As the trailer established, they obey or they die.

Which pretty much confirms what happens to Slipknot, since one of the trailers has already show him attempting escape.
