8. Harley Quinn Is Excellent

There may be some accusations of sexism and glorification of abuse, but a significant number of reviews have praised Margot Robbie's performance as Harley Quinn. There have been assessments calling it star-making, break-out, brilliant... And that's all good news considering the possible longevity of the character.

Interestingly, more than one review mentions that Robbie owns her own sexuality, despite the voyeuristic eye cast upon her. And to some extent that's an interesting conversation of its own (even if it's strange to see it in this movie).

Harley seems to be a shining light in the darkness (as it always appeared she would be), and that's worth a sigh of relief.
