SXSW 2022: 20 Movies You Need To Know About
20. Everything Everywhere All At Once
By far the single most raved-about film coming out of SXSW this year was this sci-fi comedy from directing duo Daniels (Swiss Army Man, The Death of Dick Long).
Michelle Yeoh has earned some of the best reviews of her career - which is no mean feat - for her central performance as Evelyn, a Chinese immigrant swept up in a multiverse-spanning adventure which sees the actress portraying numerous wacky, gleefully meta variations of her protagonist.
At once an incredibly energetic action film and well-crafted character comedy, Everything Everywhere All At Once has the potential to be one of the year's big breakout hits, or in the very least endure as a superbly constructed cult fave.
Everything Everywhere All At Once releases in the US on March 25.
