6. Do I Have Your Full Attention? - The Social Network
Does anyone write better dialogue for smug men than Aaron Sorkin? The auteur wrote The Social Network, Steve Jobs, The West Wing and pretty much any other TV show or film you can think of in which wealthy white dudes are considered noble for laying verbal smackdowns on people they consider their intellectual inferior. There is no reason for Mark Zuckerberg to be a sympathetic character (in real life or when played by Jesse Eisenberg). And yet, when he says to the grumpy old lawyer "You have part of my attention. You have the minimum amount", you almost want to cheer. Well played, Sorkin.
