This entire scene (and movie) is a gift to every woman who has lost a friend to the Great Bridal Con that is big weddings. Having seen her personal, thoughtful present trumped by something expensive and over the top, Kristen Wiig yells what everyone in the audience is thinking: "Are you f***ing kidding me?". It's hard to pull off an incredibly funny monologue that also contains a genuine sense of betrayal and serves to push the plot forward. It's even harder to do so while tackling and destroying a giant cookie. This masterclass in physical comedy manages to do all these things (and in what looks to be a pretty uncomfortable dress to boot).
