6. It Will (Hopefully) Introduce Classic Catwoman Characters
This is one for the fans really, but introducing Selina Kyle into her own chronology and personal history would be a big boon in terms of actually getting to delve deep into the deeply-rooted and intricately-plotted world of Gotham and the DC universe. For example, Selina Kyle is hardly an island of a character - with a support network that largely consists of best friend Holly Robinson, it'd be interesting to see how they would interact with the new background and mythology that Christopher Nolan has constructed. As a fan of such classic characters as Holly and Renee Montoya and Harvey Bullock, there's something inherently delightful in considering that these characters and the pieces of the Catwoman mythology can be rebuilt and reconstructed into new, complex and intriguing ways.
