3. Felicity Jones & David Oyelowo Provide Solid Support
Though it's fair to say that Felicity Jones and David Oyelowo take part in the less-interesting portion of the film, they nevertheless do solid work with what they have.

Their laid-back chemistry makes them an easily believable pairing, with Jones in particular bringing a heft of charm to the table, and also the necessary sympathetic vulnerability when things inevitably go south.
Like their crewmates they certainly could've been developed with greater depth, but it's tough to imagine many actors doing better with what they've got here.

To their credit, they remain eminently watchable even when their plot is at its least interesting.
