In Miracles (also known as Mister Canton and Lady Rose), Jackie Chan plays a man that out of sheer luck inherits a criminal empire in 1920s Hong Kong. Chan, who had always been very fascinated with old Hollywood and cinematography, directed this film almost a tribute to the Hollywood greats that had come before him. While the film isnt jam packed with action scenes, every shot was done with perfection in mind. While Chans fanbase wasnt exactly expecting this sort of movie from him, there was one thing that they were expecting; innovative and astounding stunts and action scenes. Jackie Chan did not disappoint by having a fight break out between the rival mobsters and Chan in a Rope Factory. The possibilities were endless.
