Top 10 Jackie Chan Fight Scenes

3. King of Comedy (1999)

This is on the verge of cheating as Jackie Chan doesn€™t fight at all in this scene or even in this movie. But never the less, it€™s an underrated gem with some astonishing action scenes (that really spoof the hell out of John Woo€™s early work and just €œGun-Fu€ movies in general). Directed by Stephen Chow (the man behind the 2004 masterpiece Kung-Fu Hustle), King of Comedy is a semi-autobiographical tale about Chow€™s trials and tribulations on trying to break into the Hong Kong film industry. As the scene begins, we see the crew members prepare for a giant shoot out scene in a church with doves flying all over the place. One of the extras wants to make sure you understand his character€™s motivation as he dies and I€™m unfortunately spoiling for you when I say that the scene ends with a Jackie Chan cameo. Short and sweet, Jackie Chan proves that he doesn€™t need to be the center of attention to entertain the masses.
