8. Disney's Severed Arm Trope

Disney really has a fetish for severed limbs, right?

Even ignoring the obvious examples in both the Star Wars franchise and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the first Toy Story saw Buzz temporary lose his arm, and Toy Story 2 also saw Woody separated from an arm before it was sewn back on.

Toy Story 4 once again revives the bizarrely common trope by having Bo Peep's arm break off, though as she makes clear to a horrified Woody, this injury initially occurred a while ago, and she's since been using tape to keep the arm attached.
